How Adrenal Health Becomes Related to Caffeine
Coffee has been our partner to really start the day and keep us on top of our feet. Ever since the 21st century, sleeplessness and productivity is a trend today since that is the key to success as most professionals see it. So they drink coffee to stay up for a couple of hours at night to do their reports or just take coffee to let them stay awake at mornings. But don’t you know that too much coffee is bad for your adrenal fatigue nutrition?
The number one ingredient in coffee that gives us that jolt of energy is the caffeine. Aside from coffee, there are foods that have caffeine content. Apples, soft drink, teas, chocolate bars, are those foods that have caffeine in them that people eat to get them by of their caffeine fix. They think that drinking coffee or taking in caffeine could substitute it for adrenal fatigue supplements, but the truth is, it would just worsen their stress.
Too much of drinking coffee and taking up caffeine in your body can cause irregular hear palpitations. Although it makes you alert, but after that caffeine fix it would increasingly drop your mental alertness. Also research states that caffeine is addictive, thus it will hook you on drinking cup after cup of coffee.
Obesity is also associated with caffeine and it could wake you up the entire night, thus disrupting your sleeping habit. It will also give you migraines and makes you lose your appetite. Since caffeine has the ability to keep you temporarily active and awake, you may tend to ignore the need to have sufficient rest and sleep. Caffeine may perk you up for a while but too much of it may affect your well-being in the long run.
So a quick advice: tone down the caffeine, do not become wholly dependent on it. Next thing you know, you can’t work on that report nor study for exams religiously unless you’re comforted by a nice cup of cappuccino. Otherwise you’re only enrolling yourself in a perpetual jolt-and-crash story. Remember, when you need enough energy, eat the right food and supplements coupled with enough amount of sleep.
